Licences

In Cirrus Shield, each user is associated with a profile. When you create a profile, you must associate it with a license type. The license type determines the available features.

When you create a user, your environment must have a valid license that will be assigned to that user. You cannot create a new user if the licenses have expired or if you do not have enough licenses.

You can set the license and user type by going to the next page

When you deactivate a user from your environment, the license is revoked. This license can be reassigned to another user and remains valid until its expiration date. The assignment of licenses to users is done automatically by the system.

By default, you have the following 3 profiles in Cirrus Shield :

  • System Administrator: This profile is allocated to the first user. It gives access to the entire environment and its functionalities. The System Administrator profile is associated with an Ultimate license type. For all our customers the first license is an Ultimate license because it is the license you need to have the System Administrator profile.
  • Standard: This profile is associated with a Standard license type.
  • Read Only: This profile is associated with a Standard license type.

If you are purchasing Professional or Enterprise licenses, you must create profiles associated with these types of licenses. To do this, you must :

  1. Create a new profile with the Enterprise license type
  2. Give rights on all applications, tabs, objects, buttons to this profile
  3. You can then create the users and associate this profile to them
