  • Error: FieldName
    • This message is displayed if the field name used is not existing in the main object.
  • Error: LookupField
    • This message is displayed if the lookup field name used was not existing in the main object.
  • Error: LookupObject-FieldName
    • This message is displayed if the field name used is not existing in the Lookup object.
  • Error: Related-List-ObjectName
    • This message is displayed if the related list object name used was not correct.
  • Error: Related-List-RelationshipName

Other Error Messages

  • When opening the word document: Word experienced an error trying to open the file

    • When opening a word document generated by Cirrus Shield, you get the following error message in Word:
Word experienced an error trying to open the file
      Try these suggestions
      – Check the file permissions for the document or drive
      – Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk space
      – Open the file with the Text Recovery converter
    • This is due to an encoding in your word document template. To correct it, open your template and make sure that all “Page Break” are on separate lines. Indeed this error happens when the page break comes right after a merge field, so make sure the page break is on a separate line in your template.
