Sirene

Introduction

This guide aims to walk you through the process of effectively utilizing the Sirene integration with Cirrus Shield.

Prerequisites

Before you can start using the service, you will need to do the following steps:

1. Create a Sirene Account
Create a Sirene account by signing in to insee.fr website, here is the link: https://api.insee.fr/catalogue/site/themes/wso2/subthemes/insee/pages/item-info.jag?name=Sirene&version=V3&provider=insee

2. Retrieve Application Credentials (Consumer Key & Consumer Secret):
After creating your account, proceed to the “My Applications” section. Click on “Add Application” to create a new application.


Once the application is created, navigate to its name, and access the “Production Keys” tab. Here, you can obtain the Consumer Key & Consumer Secret

Ensure your Cirrus Shield configuration is complete. For detailed instructions, consult the Sirene Admin Guide.

Sirene Functionnality

Sirene has three functionalities:

Search for companies: If you wish to search for companies based on their name, you can input anything you want and then click on the JavaScript button.

A popup will appear, and you will be able to choose any company you want, and its information will be saved within the specific account object

Update company information: In case you already have the SIRET and the name of the desired company, you can always stay up to date regarding the information of the specific company in case it was updated in France, by simply clicking on the JavaScript button.

It will get the latest information about the company, such as the address for example.

Get new companies daily: In case you checked the checkbox during the configuration process, you will be provided with the latest created companies in France daily based on the CodeAPE that you have provided
