Filtering on Checkbox Fields<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<p>When filtering on checkbox field, use the\u00a0following terms in the &#8220;Value&#8221; to specify if the box is checked or not :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>True<\/strong> = Checked<\/li>\n<li><strong>False<\/strong> = Not checked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let&#8217;s take for example that you want to see all the leads who have read your email.<\/p>\n<p>To do that, choose the <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Field<\/strong> <\/span>&#8220;Email Read&#8221; in the drop-down list, then select the &#8220;Equals&#8221; <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Operator<\/strong><\/span>, and finally enter True in the field\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Value<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #009551;\">2. Filtering on Date or Date\/Time Fields<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<p>If entering a date, use the following format : <strong><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">YYYY-MM-DD\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>(2017-02-27).<\/p>\n<p>If the field also contain time then the format will be :<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS+TZ <\/span><\/strong><\/span>(2017-02-07 12:42:55+01)<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>where TZ is the<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <span style=\"color: #009551;\"><a style=\"color: #009551;\" href=\"https:\/\/help.cirrus-shield.com\/docs\/admin-guide\/set-up-your-organization-information\/set-organization-time-zone\/\">timezone<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>if the datatype of a field is date\/time (Eg. Modification date) and you want to filter the records by modification date, without setting the time\u00a0(Eg. 2017\/03\/09), then enter the following :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modification date\u00a0<em>greater than\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">2017-03-09 00:00:00+01*<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Modification date\u00a0<em>lower than\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">2017-03-09 00:00:00+01*<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* (+01) is the timezone and it can be different from one organization to another (to know your timezone go the setup, and click on the Organisation tab.)<\/p>\n<p>You can also insert the format <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Today, Tomorrow, Thisweek, Nextyear, Lastyear&#8230; <span style=\"color: #000000;\">in the field. Cirrus Shield will give you all the records from these dates.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here is the list of all the possible values:<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday \/ Today \/ Tomorrow \/ LastWeek \/ ThisWeek \/ NextWeek \/ LastMonth \/ ThisMonth \/ NextMonth \/ LastnDays (n being an integer) \/ NextnDays (n being an integer) \/ LastQuarter \/ ThisQuarter \/ NextQuarter \/ LastYear \/ ThisYear \/ NextYear \/ LastFiscalQuarter \/ ThisFiscalQuarter \/ NextFiscalQuarter \/ LastFiscalYear \/ ThisFiscalYear \/ NextFiscalYear<\/p>\n<p>Ex: We want to create the filtered view <strong>This week&#8217;s tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Task <\/strong>Tab.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>New Filtered List<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Choose in the filter criteria : Deadline Equals ThisWeek<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #009551;\"><strong>3. Filtering on Picklist Values<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<p>When filtering on Picklist or multi-select picklist fields, use a<strong> <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">Comma<\/span><\/strong> or\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Quotation mark\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>between values.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s take for example that you want to see all the opportunities &#8220;<strong>Closed,\u00a0Won<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>In Buying<\/strong> <strong>Process<\/strong>&#8221; in your company.<\/p>\n<p>To do that, choose the <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Field\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>&#8220;Stage&#8221; in the drop-down list, then select the &#8220;Equals&#8221; <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Operator<\/strong><\/span>, and finally enter <strong>&#8220;Closed, Won&#8221;,&#8221;In Buying Process&#8221;<\/strong> in the field\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>Value<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Note that :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The use of the quotation mark will help you if you have a comma in the picklist value (Eg:\u00a0<strong>Closed, Won<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>The picklist value must be correctly written, if not an error message will appear &#8220;Picklist value does not exist&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #009551;\"><strong>4. Filtering on Numeric Values<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<p>If filtering on Currency or Percentage fields,<strong><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"> do not use &#8220;$&#8221; or &#8220;%&#8221;<\/span>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only write the numbers (Eg: 10 instead of 10% or 120000 instead of 120,000$).<\/p>\n<p>Note that blank values are not considered as zero (0).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #009551;\">5. Filtering on Lookup\u00a0Fields<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Filtering Lookup Fields do not differ from the others.<\/p>\n<p>You only need to choose the lookup\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\">field <\/span><\/strong>let&#8217;s say &#8220;Account Name&#8221;, select the <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>operators<\/strong> <\/span>for example &#8220;Contains&#8221; and finally the <span style=\"color: #ff8a00;\"><strong>value<\/strong> <\/span>&#8220;ABC&#8221;.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #009551;\"><strong>6. Filtering on Text Fields<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Filtering is case sensitive.
