By default, some of the custom field picklist values are available in each object. You can add new picklist values or rename the existing values\u00a0to have an environment that corresponds to your specific needs.<\/p>\n
For example, in the Companies\u00a0Object the “Industry” field is a picklist value.<\/p>\n
To Add or Rename Picklist Value (Ex: Industry):<\/p>\n
1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile.<\/p>\n
2. Click on your name, then select Setup.<\/p>\n
3. Go to the Object\u00a0tab, and click on Details\u00a0Company.<\/p>\n
4. Search “Industry”, and click on Details.<\/p>\n
5. Go down, you’ll see all the picklist value of the Industry<\/p>\n
\n Rename a value
\n Click “Edit” next to the value you want to change.
\n Delete a value
\n Click “Delete” next to the value you want to remove.
\n Add new value(s) in the Picklist
\n Click “New”, write the new value(s) and save (Enter the values by returning to the line after each word).
\n Sort the value
\n Click “Reorder” next to New.
\n Add a value as a “Default Value”
\n Select the “Default Value” check box.
\n Set a field as “Required”
