A profile <\/span>is<\/span> a set of settings and permissions <\/span>that<\/span> defines<\/span> which<\/span> features<\/span> and <\/span>operators<\/span> are <\/span>present<\/span> for <\/span>each<\/span> type of user. Configurations <\/span>determine<\/span> what<\/span> users<\/span> can <\/span>create<\/span>, <\/span>modify<\/span>, or <\/span>delete<\/span> in <\/span>Cirrus Shield, like <\/span>objects<\/span> fields<\/span> or page <\/span>templates<\/span>. Permissions, on the <\/span>other<\/span> hand, <\/span>determine<\/span> what<\/span> users<\/span> can do in the <\/span>organization<\/span>, <\/span>such<\/span> as <\/span>creating<\/span> edit<\/span> or <\/span>deleting<\/span> records, or building reports and <\/span>dashboards<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In Cirrus Shield, <\/span>you<\/span> have standard profiles but <\/span>you<\/span> can <\/span>also<\/span> create<\/span> custom profiles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are 3 types of <\/span>profile<\/span>s<\/span>:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • The <\/span>administrator<\/span> system : <\/span><\/strong>who<\/span> has <\/span>access<\/span> to all the <\/span>features<\/span> of the CRM (configuration, <\/span>integration<\/span> and <\/span>customization<\/span>).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Standard <\/span>user :<\/span><\/strong> who<\/span> to <\/span>create<\/span>, <\/span>edit<\/span> or <\/span>delete<\/span> records and reports. <\/span>However<\/span>, <\/span>it<\/span> does<\/span> not have <\/span>access<\/span> to the configuration part.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Read-only:<\/strong> Can <\/span>only<\/span> view<\/span> recordings<\/span> and compile reports.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In <\/span>order<\/span> t<\/span>o <\/span>create<\/span> custom <\/span>profiles:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    For <\/span>example<\/span>, <\/span>you<\/span> want<\/span> to <\/span>create<\/span> specific<\/span> objects<\/span> that<\/span> are <\/span>customized<\/span> for <\/span>each<\/span> department<\/span>, but <\/span>you<\/span> want<\/span> each<\/span> department<\/span> to <\/span>view<\/span> its<\/span> own<\/span> tabs<\/span>. To do <\/span>this<\/span>, the <\/span>creation<\/span> of custom profiles has been <\/span>integrated<\/span> into<\/span> Cirrus Shield in <\/span>order<\/span> to <\/span>assign<\/span> for <\/span>example<\/span> different<\/span> tabs<\/span> to the <\/span>corresponding<\/span> department<\/span> so<\/span> you<\/span> must :<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Click <\/span>your<\/span> name<\/span>, and <\/span>then<\/span> select Configuration.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Go to the Profile <\/strong>tab, and click on New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Insert <\/span><\/span>a Name<\/strong>. In this case, “HR department”.<\/li>\n
    5. Click on Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Note that these <\/span><\/span>features are only available for the Enterprise <\/strong>and the Ultimate Editions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Note that you can change permissions on objects, only in the Administrator System Profile<\/strong> by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Clicking on the Administrator System<\/strong> Name.<\/li>
      2. Clicking on the assiciated list Object<\/strong>.<\/li>
      3. Click Edit<\/strong> on any object.<\/li>
      4.
