Cirrus Shield allows you to customize the layout of your pages in order to show the right information at the right place.\u00a0You can also use Page Designer<\/strong>\u00a0to set the emplacement of each field, related lists and custom links displayed in the detail pages.<\/p>\n

\n

To Edit an existing layout (Ex: Lead):<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on your name, then select Setup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Go to the Page Designer<\/b> tab, and click on Edit<\/strong> Lead<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Change the label of the layout if needed and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    • To Arrange fields <\/strong><\/span>or related lists on the layout, select the item from the box on the right and drag them to the desired location.<\/li>\n
    • To Remove fields<\/strong><\/span> or related lists on the layout, select the item from the section and replace it in the left box.<\/li>\n
    • To Arrange section<\/span>,<\/strong> select the section and place it whenever you want.<\/li>\n
    • To Remove a section<\/strong><\/span>, click on the delete icon on the top right of the section.<\/li>\n
    • To Rename a section<\/strong><\/span>, click on the modify icon on the top right of the section<\/li>\n
    • To Create a section<\/strong><\/span> (Ex: Lead Information), click on the link “Create a section” (On the top left)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      5. Click on Save<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Note that you can no longer change the number of column in the section once saved.<\/p>\n

      To Create New Section (Ex: Invoices):<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

      1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      2. Click on your name, then select Setup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      3. Go to the Page Designer<\/b> tab, and click on New<\/strong><\/p>\n

      4. Enter the Label<\/strong> of the object : Invoices.<\/p>\n

      5. Select the Invoices Object<\/b> from the Object<\/i> drop-down list.<\/p>\n

      6. Click Next.<\/p>\n

      7. Create a Section<\/strong>, enter a Name <\/strong>in the field Label.<\/p>\n

      8. Set whether the section should have one or two columns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        \n
      • The “Display as tab<\/strong><\/span>” checkbox: To display a related list at the top of the lead detail page.<\/li>\n
      • The “Display section title<\/strong><\/span>” checkbox : To hide or not the title of the section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        9. Select<\/strong> the item from the box on the right and drag them to the desired section.<\/p>\n

        10. Click Save<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Note that you can no longer change the number of column in the section once saved.<\/p>\n

        To Edit Properties click on edit from the field box:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

          \n
        • Fields marked as read only<\/strong> cannot be changed<\/li>\n
        • If you make a picklist field read only, all new records will contain the default value for that picklist.<\/li>\n
        • Auto-number fields are always read only.<\/li>\n
        • You can set a field as required<\/strong> to force users in your organization to enter\/choose a value when creating or editing a record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          To Create a Quick Form Page Template:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n<\/div>\n
          \n

          1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          2. Click on your name, then select Setup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          3. Go to the Page Designer<\/b> tab, and click on New<\/strong><\/p>\n

          4. Enter the Label<\/strong> of the object : Leads.<\/p>\n

          5. Select the Lead Object<\/b> from the Object<\/i> drop-down list.<\/p>\n

          6. Select the page type. In this case : Quik Form\/ Record Preview.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          7. Click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          8. Select the Fields to display.<\/p>\n

          9. Click Save.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Here the result:<\/p>\n
