Cirrus Shield gather all your data into modules called “Objects<\/strong>“. An object is similar to a table containing your data. Each column in this table corresponds to a field in your object.<\/p>\n

Cirrus Shield objects are available on the navigation menu<\/strong> and include Leads, contacts, companies, opportunities, reports and much more.<\/p>\n

For example, the Lead objects contains fields with information describing the potential clients of your company, such as their name, position, phone numbers, status and the companies they work for.<\/p>\n

There are two types of objects in Cirrus Shield :<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Standard<\/strong><\/em> Objects are included in the Cirrus Shield CRM and vary according to the licence your company purchases.<\/li>\n
  • Custom<\/strong><\/em> Objects are created to meet your company’s specific business needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The administrator system can modify standard objects or create custom objects that meet your unique business requirements. For example your organization may decide to create a custom object called “Invoices” to track their invoices within the Cirrus Shield CRM but they can also choose to rename the standard object “Companies” to “Clients”.<\/p>\n

    To Edit a Standard Object (Ex: “Companies”):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Click on your name, then select Setup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Go to the Object<\/strong>\u00a0tab, and click on Edit\u00a0<\/strong>Company<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Write “Client”\u00a0<\/strong>instead of “Company” in the Label<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
    5. Write\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>“Clients”\u00a0<\/strong>instead of “Companies” in the Plural Label<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
    6. Click on Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

      To Create a Custom Object (Ex: “Invoices”):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Log in to Cirrus Shield with your administrator profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. Click on your name, then select Setup<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Go to the Object<\/strong>\u00a0tab, and click on\u00a0New.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. Write “Invoice” in the\u00a0Label\u00a0<\/strong>field.<\/li>\n
      5. Write “Invoices” in the\u00a0Label Plural\u00a0<\/strong>field.<\/li>\n
      6. If you want, choose an icon in the\u00a0Image File\u00a0<\/strong>field.<\/li>\n
      7. Click on\u00a0Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Note that the Object Name<\/strong> field will be automatically filled, but you can change the name if needed. If\u00a0you want to change the name you have to put an underscore ” _ ” between each word (for example : Invoices_Number).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>\n
