Brevo is a marketing automation tool <\/strong>that allows you to send emailing campaigns to a list of leads or contacts. With its connector to Cirrus Shield, the following events are sent back from Brevo to Cirrus Shield: bounce, unsubscribe, email opened<\/strong>, email clicked.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This section provides you with the required configurations<\/strong> to allow the Brevo connectors to function with Cirrus Shield (only the administrator system<\/a> can do the configuration).<\/p>\n

The following configurations assume that your environment has a standard configuration and that the fields in the above table were not deleted.<\/p>\n

Campaign Configuration<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n
\n

– Add a new Text<\/b><\/a> field and put \u201cSIB_Campaign_ID\u201d<\/b> in the Name field (it should be exactly the same).<\/p>\n

– Check the External ID<\/b><\/a> and the Unique<\/b><\/a> checkboxes.<\/p>\n

– Go to the Page Designer<\/b><\/a> tab.<\/p>\n

– Add the “SIB_Campaign_ID”<\/b> field into your campaigns page.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Campaign Member Configuration<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n
\n

– Add a new Text<\/b><\/a> field and put \u201cSIB_Campaign_Member_ID\u201d<\/b> in the Name field (it should be exactly the same).<\/p>\n

– Check the External ID<\/b><\/a> and the Unique<\/b><\/a> checkboxes.<\/p>\n

– Create two checkboxes with the corresponding Name fields: \u201cEmail_Clicked\u201d<\/b><\/a> and \u201cEmail_Opened\u201d<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

– Go to the Page Designer<\/b><\/a> tab.<\/p>\n

– Add the “SIB_Campaign_Member_ID”<\/b>, “Email_Clicked”<\/b>, and “Email_Opened”<\/b> fields into your campaign members\u2019 page.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Brevo Configuration<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n
\n

First of all, create an account in “Brevo<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

4 steps to synchronize the information between Cirrus Shield and Brevo:<\/b><\/p>\n

First step, configure the Brevo plugin in Cirrus Shield:<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

1- Go to Setup<\/b> and click on the Plugin<\/b> tab.<\/p>\n

2- Click on New<\/b> and select Brevo<\/b>.<\/p>\n

3- Click on install<\/b>.<\/p>\n

4- Once the plugin is installed, click on Details<\/b> next to Brevo plugin.<\/p>\n

5- Click on Edit<\/b>.<\/p>\n

6- Copy the API KEY<\/b> present in your Brevo account. To do so, log in and click on API & Forms<\/b> tab and then click on Manage your keys<\/b>. Copy the “API Key” v2 and put it in the “Authentication ID”<\/b> field present in Cirrus Shield.<\/p>\n

7- Save the modifications.<\/p>\n

Second step, choose which object you want to upload in the contact list of Brevo:<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

1- Click on Details<\/b> next to Brevo plugin.<\/p>\n

2- Go to the “Plugin Component” section.<\/p>\n

3- Click on Edit<\/b> next to “Upload to Brevo”.<\/p>\n

4- Select the objects you want to upload in Brevo. In most case, it will be the Lead<\/b> object or the Contact<\/b> object.<\/p>\n

5- Click save.<\/p>\n

Third step, map the Cirrus Shield fields with the Brevo fields:<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

1- Click on “Upload to Brevo”.<\/b><\/p>\n

2- Go to the “Component Mapping Fields”<\/b> and click on Edit<\/b>.<\/p>\n

3- Map the Brevo fields with the Cirrus Shield fields.<\/p>\n

4- Click save.<\/p>\n

Fourth step, add the profiles access to the buttons that were added on each of the selected objects:<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

1- Click on Objects<\/b> in the configuration menu.<\/p>\n

2- On each of the objects on which you added Brevo go to “Custom Buttons” tab.<\/p>\n

3- Click on “Details” next to the “Upload to Brevo” button.<\/p>\n

4- Click on the Profiles tab then edit.<\/p>\n

5- Add all profiles to which you wish to give access to the button then click save.<\/p>\n

Last step, set up the web hook present in Brevo:<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

1- Click on this link: Web Hook.<\/a><\/p>\n

2- Log in to your Brevo account.<\/p>\n

3- Click on Add a new Webhook<\/b>.<\/p>\n

4- Check the “Delivered”, “Opened”, “Clicked”, “Marked as Spam”, “Hard Bounce” and “Unsubscribed” boxes.<\/p>\n

5- Paste this link<\/b> in the URL section field: https:\/\/sib.cirrus-shield.net\/v2\/index.php?un=&pw=<\/p>\n

(for old versions of CS where the campaign member contact is a simple lookup field, please use: https:\/\/sib.cirrus-shield.net\/index2.php?un=&pw=)<\/p>\n

6- Note that this URL should contain the username and password of Cirrus-shield which are set after the equals signs (un for username and pw for password).<\/p>\n

7- But since some special characters can\u2019t be set directly in a URL, a string encoding should be done. Thus head to www.urlencoder.org <\/a>an online service to encode your username and password and paste each in its respective field in the web hook URL.<\/p>\n

8- Click add.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lead or Contact Configuration<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n
\n

– Create two checkboxes with the corresponding Name fields: “Email_Opt_Out”<\/b><\/a> and “Invalid_Email”<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

– Go to the Page Designer<\/b><\/a> Tab.<\/p>\n

– Add the “Email_Opt_Out”<\/b> and “Invalid_Email”<\/b> fields into your lead’s or contact’s page.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
